Hi, as many of you know our good buddy Heath Brown recently went to the ER for nausea, vomiting and severe abdominal pain and was admitted to Dorminy Medical Center. They air lifted him from Dorminy the next day to Augusta. He arrived in Augusta and went straight to surgery where they removed several cm of his small intestines due to a blood clot that had stopped blood flow and killed his small intestines. The next day, he had a second surgery where they had to remove another 40cm of his intestines and they left his abdomen open and covered for a couple days until they could go back in and make sure there was no more necrosis. He was intubated and sedated for a couple days. On Wednesday 12/6 they went in again and removed another 30cm of intestines and finally closed his abdomen. He has a bunch of swelling and a large incision site that will have to heal. He has a very long road to recovery and will not be able to work for several months. Meagan (his wife) has been by his side since he was seen at Dorminy and is missing work as well. They also have 4 children they care for and normal household bills and with the cost of living the way it is, and now medical bills and being out of work.. I’m sure they could use all the help they can get. Please, if you’re able to donate it would be so appreciated and if not (because like I said the cost of living is insane) please share so we can help them make it through this.
