Hi my name is John and I have recently fell into pretty intense medical findings/issues. I’ve had a bump on my arm for about 8years or so now and just always ignored it as I did not have medical insurance to have it looked at and anytime I was able to have someone take a quick look they said it was most likely a lipoma and it was not a worry. It grew lilttle by little over the years and recently has grown almost double in size along with a second one next to it leading to intense sharp pains almost non stop for weeks now. I was finally able to get it looked at due to having work benefits. As of right now I am waiting for my surgery to have it removed on May26th after many mris and tests because they have all shown that i have malignant cancer and or NF1 (Neurofibromatosis.) Both of which are a serious condition NF1 not being curable meaning I’ll continue to grow more of these throughout my life (i have another one the same size in my armpit) and cancer being cancer on top of the tumors being inside the muscles of my arm which can lead to my losing funtion in my hand after it’s removed. The surgery is going to put me out of work for 4-6 weeks with recovery, physical therapy and whatever else will follow suit after a full diagnosis meaning I cannot work during that time. So I am simply just asking for help with the medical bills my insurance is not able to cover and help with livelyhood income (rent and other bills,child) that I’ll incure during this timely and difficult process. This past month has destroyed my mental health and this month till my surgery is only going to weigh me down more so literally anything will help from donations to sharing this or even just words of encouragement and positivity.
