Hi family and friends,

My loving mother Anita Pre, who is 81 years of age, was never hospitalized in her life, is now in the hospital due to "severe head injury" that caused her to have life-altering changes in her behavior and physical functions. She was also diagnosed with COVID on top of it while in the hospital.

Being Covid positive along with her head injury, it adds a "significant" cost to her stay at the hospital. As you all probably know, not many people can afford a private health insurance in the Philippines. All of the expenses are out of our own pocket.

At the moment, her hospital bill is close to Php 700,000(pesos) and will continue to climb until she gets discharged from the hospital, this will likely be close to Php 1,500,000 by the time she is out of the hospital.

(She is currently receiving multiple anti-biotics, medication to relieve brain pressure, tube feeding, foley catheter, ct scans, x-rays, just to name a few).

But her expenses does not stop there as she will likely need some sort of physical therapy and special care for her rehabilitation once she gets home.

Your generosity will help cover some of the hospital bills and future medical expenses to help her get back in some sort of physical normalcy.
