On March 7, our mom, Sandy, had a seizure that we quickly found out was caused by a tumor. Unfortunately it was a glioblastoma, the most aggressive brain tumor you can get. She had surgery on March 15 and has since had quite a few complications, including a second seizure and pneumonia. She’s currently in the ICU and is facing a long road ahead, including in-patient rehabilitation and weeks of chemo and radiation treatments.

Many in our community have asked how they can help. Even with insurance, our dad is anticipating significant medical bills from the hospital stay and future treatments. We’d love to be able to take a bit of anxiety off his plate by helping with some of the expenses.
