Earlier this year, I experienced a miscarriage that resulted in an unexpected hospital stay. It was an incredibly difficult and emotional time for me and my family, and we are still working through the aftermath. Unfortunately, my insurance coverage did not begin until the week after my hospitalization, leaving us responsible for the full cost of the medical bills. This has placed a significant financial burden on us at a time when we are already coping with so much.
