Jaylen Alexander Delacruz left our world and entered the next yesterday, 12/7/22, at 5:30pm. We got the call around 10:30am that he was quickly leaving us. He was surrounded by family and held in his parents arms as he left us. Please Pray for Anthony and Janeth, no parent should ever have to loose a child. I can’t imagine how they feel right now. We are all so heartbroken. We are meeting with the funeral home today at 2pm. We are not sure what we will be doing yet. ALL funds donated in the Go Fund Me will go to this. If you want to donate or contribute, I will post the link below. If you want to come to the service, If we have one, please let me know in a message and I will provide you with the details. Thank you all for your love and support along his journey.

Grandson Update: Baby was supposed to go to the “butterfly room” last Tuesday where all services were going to be stopped and we were going to say our goodbyes. On Monday, mom and dad couldn’t move forward with it. I’m with them on this. We can’t fathom doing something like that especially when he is still awake and fighting. While it was advised by the doctors, we can’t do it. We have given this to God and we will continue to do so. Baby has several health conditions and now he also has fluid in the lungs and more fluid build up in the brain. We are not sure what the future holds for him, but we couldn’t give up. All money donated and collected will be saved and used for him/ what Is to come. Thank you all for love and support.
Update. 11/12/22
Originally the plan was to stabilize Jaylen to help him get home to be comfortable. Unfortunately, his breathing became worse and they cannot do that. He is getting baptized today, then tomorrow, 11/13/22, he will be moved to a private room so we can all say our goodbyes and all assistance for him will stop. I have no words for this. I’m heartbroken and just BROKEN. This is the hardest thing we have had to face and for those that know me know I’ve been through ALOT. I can’t even imagine how Anthony and Janeth feel. Please Pray for Jaylen to have a smooth transition, for his parents, and for our family.
My grandson Jaylen Alexander was born on September 26, 2022 with two major heath issues. One, Hydrocephalus, (excessive fluid in the brain), and the other consists of several very severe heart issues. He received neuro surgery to help drain the fluid from his brain, however it was recently determined that heart surgery will not be done, which is needed for his survival. The part of his heart that oxygenates the body is not connected among several other concerns including a large hole and several small ones.
We are devastated to say the least. No parents or anyone should have to go through something like this. Doctors stated all we can do now is make him comfortable and let life takes its course. They plan on releasing him home soon so he can be comfortable and so we can spend time with him.
We do not know how long we have with him, or what the future holds. We just know we love him and are devastated by all of this.
We were not prepared for any of this. We also don’t know what other fees/ costs are coming our way, what special accommodations we will need, and so forth.
We know times are tough, and we also are not the type to ask for anything. Doing this is hard for us ,however we could use all the help we can get. Every penny counts and no amount is to small. All is appreciated including Prayers and resources.
Thank you all for everything.
Love y’all.
