- Hello, I'm Michelle and the wife of Bill St John. Many of you know that he has to have a double hip replacement, with his first surgery on September 19th, the second one on November 28th. Bill's been a Millwright for the last 16 years, proud member of Local 1463, spending many of those years traveling with Seimans and doing local work when possible. If you know him, you know he's a hard worker and dedicated to his job. He can also be a pain in the ass, talk to damn much and get on my last nerve, but he's a good man and can be counted on when it comes to the job he loves and his family he loves even more. His diagnosis came as a big surprise to us, we went to the doctor expecting to hear about his fractured hip and left with news of him having an extreme case of Avascular Necrosis in both hips. In simple terms, the blood flow in the bone has stopped and the hip bone is dying. He hasn't worked since June and with the pain and discomfort he has, there's no way he could even if he wanted to. Unfortunately, with no work, there are no hours to report and no insurance to cover his bills. I struggled with setting up this page because I thought I'd be able to pull the weight on my own and I just can't.
