Help with Max's ER Visit

Hi, we're the Wassels. We have three adorable cats, all of whom we've raised from kittens. We love Lootvagen, who's eight and a half (and under Max in the picture below), and Max and Fuschia, our younger sibling pair. They each have their own personalities, but despite that, they all adore each other!

Max (orange tabby and white) is only 2.5 years old, but he has been diagnosed with Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. This genetic heart defect makes him prone to blood clots and heart attacks. He had one in January of 2021 that caused temporary paralysis of his hind legs. We were able to weather that, but it has happened again on 10/25/21. Max may not be the brightest bulb but he has so much love to give. If we lose him, it will devastate us (and the other cats).

The ER wants to keep him for several days to run tests, and we want to preserve his life if we can. Please consider helping us to offset the cost of his medical treatment.
