Hi, my name is Marcelo Cruz, a 45 year old happily married father of 2 boys ages 7 and 13. 

was recently diagnosed with a knee injury that requires partial knee replacement surgery. This situation has profoundly affected my mobility, my ability to train, and, above all, my ability to work. Jiu-jitsu isn’t just a sport for me—it’s my profession, my passion, and how I support my family. Unfortunately, with the constant pain and physical limitations, I’m unable to continue teaching and training as I did before, which has a direct impact on our income and stability. Surgery is essential for me to regain my quality of life, return to the mats, and continue to support my family. However, the medical costs—including the procedure, rehabilitation, and related expenses—are high and beyond what I can afford at this time. That is why I am asking for your help.
