Help with MALS Surgery

Hello-

I hate doing this. I have just been diagnosed with MALS. I have two arteries compressed. My renal artery which puts me at high risk for thrombosis, and my celiac artery which is so compressed it could dissect and cause abdominal aneurysm. Sadly, this is an extremely rare condition and their are very few surgeons versed in correcting it. To make it more complicated, I already have gastroparesis which means I am not an open surgery candidate. Surgeons that perform this surgery laparoscopically are even harder to find. I have consulted with several surgeons. One in Chicago, one at Mayo, and one in St. Louis. The St. Louis surgeon is the most versed in multiple compressions so he will likely be my choice. This is a major surgery and will require travel that I simply can not afford on my own. I hate to ask anyone for financial help, but I just thought I’d put it out there. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
