Lucy was a sweet little angel girl, full of life and always ready to share her love with everyone she met. She wasn't just one person's dog—she was truly the heart of our family. Lucy had a special way of making everyone feel loved, whether she was cuddling up on the couch or greeting each person with her joyful spirit. She brought happiness to all of us, and everyone who met her felt her warmth and compassion.

Last Sunday, Lucy ran outside of my cousin's house and crossed the street to see my mom. In that moment, she was hit by a car, and it was absolutely tragic. My mom called me right away, and I rushed to pick Lucy up and take her to the vet. The doctors found she had internal bleeding from the impact, but they were hopeful she would recover. They recommended she stay overnight for care, but the cost was more than I could afford. I took out a loan to cover her emergency treatment, hoping for the best. Sadly, Lucy passed away on Wednesday morning, leaving our hearts broken and a financial burden behind.
