As some of you already know, my mother (who's very young still...) was at a scan for her gallbladder thinking she may need to have it removed as she had gotten sick after dinner a few times last week.. and had some pain. Unfortunately moments later we got news that would very quickly change all of our lives. They found a very large tumor on her pancreas, liver and lymph node. Unfortunately it's very fast moving and we have a very long road ahead of us. So, we got her into one of the best cancer doctors at Boston (mass general & newton)!! Despite us just learning of this 2 days before thanksgiving.. due to the severity they have expedited everything and will be seeing her next week sometime. Knowing what's coming ahead...travel, medications, lodging, fuel etc. we are out of ideas and asking for your help. My mom would give the shirt off her back for anyone and truly, truly doesn't deserve this. But she has fight in her.. and we're confident and hopeful that with the best care team and other stories similar where they came out of this.. that my mom will too! Please pray for my mom and our family in this sad, difficult time. She keeps saying "God can't have me yet, I need to be here for my grandbabies and I want to see Christopher and Alyssa's babies.

I will post updates in here as we know, as I know many of you are already asking. It's been a super chaotic and busy time getting everything organized and taking care of mom so they may not be daily but I surely will update!
