Hi my name Is Dolores but everyone knows and calls me Lola. As hard as this is for me to do , I'm in need of all the support I can get to get further treatment for my cancer. I have been battling this beast for the last 2 1/2 years. For those that don't know I have stage 3c Ovarian Cancer. I have done many different types of treatment and I'm coming to a road block . I have been told that none of the treatments are working and unfortunately my cancer is growing and spreading. I was advised to get a second opinion . I have made an appointment at MD Anderson in Texas where there is specialist that treat my exact type . Since its out of state my insurance does not cover anything and everything will have to be paid out of pocket . So I'm asking for all the help I can get. As this is all unexpected we are only prepared for so much . And as we all know with any type of medical situation money goes faster than it even comes in.
