Help With Lofi’s Vet Bills

Hello all! 

This is Ashlynn + Jessica and we are writing to tell you the story of Kacey, Denver, and, more importantly, Lofi.Lofi’s owners, Kacey and Denver, are two of the best humans we have ever met. We all met this spring and Kacey quickly became one of our best friends. Hands down, one of Kacey’s best attributes is how much she loves her grumpy cat, Lofi. From the day Kacey picked her up Lofi was spunky, grumpy, and truly a firecracker. She was named Lofi (Loaf-ee) because when Kacey first got her she weighed only 1 pound and sat in the shape of a loaf of bread on her hand. They had a special bond from that moment on. Most people who met Lof knew that she strongly disliked anyone who was not mom or dad. She was so good at hiding when someone else visited her home, that she absolutely could teach spies a thing or two. When she came out to play, though, she craved love, made biscuits, and wanted nothing more than to be with her mama. Lofi most enjoyed playing fetch with her favorite Pom Pom balls, chasing her dad around the apartment trying to sneak up on him, basking in the sun on the windowsill, watching crows fly by from the balcony, and her absolute favorite - sleeping in her mom’s lap. Unfortunately, after a tragic accident of her eating something she shouldn’t have Lofi got unexpectedly sick one night. Really, really sick. Kacey, being the good cat mama that she is, immediately brought her to the emergency vet. After immense efforts to save Lofi, and several consecutive overnight stays in the emergency vet, she was laid to rest. To honor Lofi and her parent’s best efforts, we wanted to create a Go Fund Me to ease the large and unexpected financial burden that comes with pet hospitalization and saying goodbye to furry friends. We will also be doing bake sales for dog and cat treats throughout RiNo/Denver. If you found us through a bake sale, we
