Hi! I am raising funds for my medical logistics expenses while in the hospital. I am a high school teacher and I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and had 2 other large other tumors in my abdomen. I’ve been seeking surgical care at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX because they are so experienced at something that other doctors couldn’t figure out! Seeking and praying for a plan, the Lord sent me my team at MD Anderson and I am so grateful! I had my thyroid surgery earlier in the fall and my other tumors were recently removed a few weeks ago. The tumors were wrapped around some important things so they had to take out my left kidney completely and repair some other things including repairing my right kidney artery. Due to the complicated surgery, it has extended my stay in Houston for a while to wait on the right kidney to start working properly. I have been on some dialysis to help. I have been here for almost a month and not sure when I get to go home yet. My parents are the best for being here for me but I am making a go fund me to help with expenses related to our lodging arrangements for my parents while I’m still in the hospital, parking garage expenses everyday, food, travel to and and from check ups in Houston when I get discharged and any other medical expenses throughout my stay here now and through the year.
