Gabe has been diagnosed with cat-eye syndrome, Hypoplastic right ventricle syndrome, micrognathia and malformation of the hips and more. He has been in the hospital since birth. He is now 7 months old and had undergo a lot of surgeries and many more to come. Many didn't think he was still going to be alive but he's a fighter and God has been good to us. I only get to see him few times in a week because the hospital is not close by and I have to go to work in order to cover the other bills. I have been frustrated, helpless. Between hospital stay and the physicians charge, its been hard to cover the co-payments . Imagine looking at your child laying in a hospital bed, feeling powerless, stressed. It hasn't been an easy road. But looking at all these medical bills makes it harder, not knowing how you gonna be able to manage it all. After recovering from the heart surgery, he will be transferred to a specialized hospital where he will get physical therapy etc..
