Help with Lily’s Medical Bill

Hi my name is Samantha and my 2 year old daughter Lily was in the Phoenix children’s hospital for 4 days due to multiple seizures and involuntary muscle spasms. She had several tests done including MRIs, a Lumbar Puncture and a 24 hour EEG. It was the scariest moment we’ve ever experienced and we are truly grateful that she is doing well again. Unfortunately, we didn’t receive a diagnosis, but on the 4th day, she was back to her normal self. The theory is that she had a cerebral infection. She will have a follow up next month with her neurologist and at that time we will determine if she needs further testing for possible epilepsy or an autoimmune disease. I truly believe in the power of prayer and all the combined prayers from family and friends are the reason my baby is doing great again. With all those tests, my insurance covers so much of it, and the amount we have to pay is $6500. It’s really hard for me to ask for help, but after my husband and I reviewed our budget, we determined that this is going to be a hard thing to manage alone.
