Many of you know, my husband Doug was recently diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroendocrine cancer and secondary liver cancer.

Last month, he also lost his job unexpectedly.

We are waiting for the processes of SSDI and Unemployment to begin, but these things take time to get started.

We're liquidating anything that isn't necessary and reaching out to cancer centers and local charities for possible assistance with the mortgage and utilities.

Hopefully, this is just a bump in the road and we can pay it forward once life balances out.
