Hi my name is Morgan and I’m raising funds for my kitten & best friend Sailor’s ongoing and essential vet bills. Unfortunately he has had chronic health issues he has struggled with for most of his life… He was seperated from his cat mom far too early and left in horrible conditions and I helped rescue him at just 7 weeks old, he had a blood parasite and intestinal worms, he was incredibly sick but he miraculously survived and went on to grow up to be a very happy and very extremely loved and adored cat, he is now 9 years old. However because he didn’t get a good start in life he has struggled with chronic constipation and digestive issues all these years. We have given him the best care possible, we give him a special diet, multiple medications everyday, iv fluid treatments every week to make him as healthy and comfortable with his condition as possible, but sometimes that is not enough. Despite our tireless efforts to care for him, there have been multiple times where he has needed to be hospitalized because he cannot poop and needs an enema. And recently he was also diagnosed with a heart condition. The treatment for his heart condition is in contradiction to the treatment for his constipation and digestive issues so finding a balance for him is tough but even still with the proper treatment and care he can still live a happy and peaceful life.

The costs of his vet bills have been staggering. Of course the quality of his life is my first concern and I want to do what’s best for him and in no way do we want Sailor to suffer. We have considered saying our goodbyes to Sailor but it’s heartbreaking because despite his health complications with the right kind of care we still believe he has the possibility of having happy years of his life still ahead of him and we are not ready to let go or give up fighting for our most magical and loved pet.

Any funds raised will be directly used to pay for his vet bills & current emergency treatments and medication.
