Help with Liam Shine-San Filippo’s medical bills

Hi, I’m Liam’s auntie and I’m establishing this GoFundMe to help my sister’s family with her son, Liam’s medical bills. Liam was recently and unexpectedly diagnosed with Wolf Parkinson White Syndrome . Liam’s diagnosis happened during a family trip with his Grandmothers to visit family in Seattle. Thankfully, this meant he was close to some of the best medical care he could receive at Seattle Children’s Hospital. While still in Seattle, his doctors performed an ablation procedure on his heart in the hopes to address his heart condition. Due to the results of more extensive heart monitoring, and another cardiac episode, Liam needs to make another trip to Seattle for a second ablation procedure. While the family has medical insurance (and for that we are eternally grateful) there are significant out of pocket costs for his medical bills as well as non-medical related expenses as his parents miss work, and travel back and forth from Ashland to Seattle so that he is able to get the care he needs to address his heart condition. Your donations, however big or small, will make all the difference in ensuring Liam gets the medical attention he needs and his family is able to concentrate on what matters most during this stressful time, and ultimately so Liam can get back to school, sports, getting beaten by Grandma in Scrabble, hanging out with his friends, perfecting his paddle board stance, and being a teenager!
