Help with leukaemia treatment
Donation protected
Hi everyone, on the 31st of January 2023, 13 year old Dotti was diagnosed with ALL (Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia). It has been a very long and rough journey with all the treatments, and being allergic to one of the main chemos they use. Having to use insulin and having diabetic symptoms (low and high blood sugar) due to the steroids. Neuropathy and foot drop as side effects of the chemo, struggling to walk because well... her feet just cant move the way they used to or are supposed to.
The financial burden of Traveling down to brisbane, maintaining 2 house holds, and all the cabs and transport to the hospital and accomodation. Only 1 parent of Dotti's is currently working, the other forced to take a leave of absence in order to be there for her treatments, which range from weeks to months away from her home.
so far as of now the treatment plan is for another 2 years which will involve weekly and fortnightly treatments, daily chemo, bone marrow aspirations and lumbar punctures just to name a few.
We would be forever grateful if you could donate a bit of spare change that you might have to help us out. Thank you for reading and taking the time to consider helping Dotti and her family.
