Ariel Antoliani Sandigo Manzanarez es más que un nombre. Es un hijo, un amigo, un vecino y un miembro querido de nuestra comunidad. A los 33 años, dejó Nicaragua en busca de seguridad y un futuro mejor. Su viaje a los Estados Unidos no fue fácil. Después de llegar en 2018, soportó dos largos y dolorosos años en un centro de detención de inmigrantes en Arizona antes de ser liberado bajo la supervisión de ICE en 2020. A pesar de estas dificultades, Ariel nunca perdió la esperanza.

Con determinación y resistencia, Ariel reconstruyó su vida. Se le coincidió un permiso de trabajo y un número de Seguro Social válido, que siguen vigentes hasta el día de hoy. Desde su liberación, ha seguido todos los requisitos establecidos por ICE, haciendo “check in” semanalmente a través de la aplicación BiSmartLink incluso haciendo sus chequeos en persona en la oficina de Medford Oregón de ICE varias veces al año. Nunca faltó a una cita. Nunca rompió una regla. Él hizo todo lo que se le pidió.

El domingo 26 de enero, sin previo aviso, Ariel fue detenido mientras estaba en el estacionamiento de ACE y Safeway en NE 3rd Street en Bend Oregón, un oficial en una Expedición Ford sin identificación visible de ICE, lo esposo y lo transportó a un centro de detención en Eugene. Desde allí, fue trasladado a Tacoma Washington, y luego, el 4 de febrero, fue enviado a miles de millas de distancia a un centro de detención en Luisiana, donde permanece hoy. Ya han pasado 13 días desde que se llevaron a Ariel de su casa, de su trabajo y de las personas que se preocupan por él.

Ariel no es solo otro número de caso, es un empresario trabajador que ha construido una vida arraigada en la honestidad, la responsabilidad y la amabilidad. Desde 2022, ha dirigido un negocio de limpieza residencial registrado, ganándose la confianza y la admiración de sus clientes. No tiene antecedentes penales. Sus vecinos, amigos y clientes lo describen como un hombre dedicado y generoso, siempre dispuesto a echar una mano.

Ariel merece estar en casa. Merece ser tratado con dignidad. Él merece justicia.

Ariel Antoliani Sandigo Manzanarez is more than just a name. He is a son, a friend, a neighbor, and a beloved member of our community. At 33 years old, he left Nicaragua in search of safety and a better future. His journey to the United States was not easy. After arriving in 2018, he endured two long, painful years in an immigration detention center in Arizona before finally being released under ICE supervision in 2020. Despite these hardships, Ariel never lost hope.

With determination and resilience, Ariel rebuilt his life. Later that same year, he was granted a work permit and a valid Social Security number, which remain current to this day. Since his release, he has followed every requirement ICE set for him, checking in weekly through the BiSmartLink app and reporting in person to the Medford, Oregon, ICE office multiple times a year. He never missed an appointment. He never broke a rule. He did everything that was asked of him.

On Sunday, January 26th, without warning, Ariel was taken. While in the parking lot of ACE and Safeway on NE 3rd Street in Bend, Oregon, an officer in an unmarked Ford Expedition without visible ICE identification, handcuffed him and transported him to a detention center in Eugene. From there, he was transferred to Tacoma Washington, and then, on February 4th, sent thousands of miles away to a detention center in Louisiana, where he remains today. It has now been 13 days since Ariel was taken from his home, his job, and the people who care about him.

Ariel is not just another case number, he is a hardworking business owner who has built a life rooted in honesty, responsibility, and kindness. Since 2022, he has run a registered residential cleaning business, earning the trust and admiration of his clients. He has no criminal record. His neighbors, friends, and customers describe him as a dedicated and generous man, always willing to lend a helping hand.

Ariel deserves to be home. He deserves to be treated with dignity. He deserves justice.
