Help with Laura’s medical funds

My name is Jennifer Harding and I have been best friends with a Laura since kindergarten at St Paul’s. Laura is needing help pay for her radiation and chemo treatments as well as her alternative medicines. 

Laura started having headaches in mid October, which she and her docs all thought was whiplash from the fair (weak neck muscles from chemo). It started getting progressively worse, and nausea and vomiting set in at the beginning of last week. Because the type of cancer she had (triple negative invasive ductal carcinoma [TNBC]) has a chance of coming back in the brain, her docs brought me in for a last minute brain MRI to “ease her mind” on Tuesday afternoon. By Tuesday evening, the doc already called to inform me that I have stage 4 TNBC which has metastasized to my brain. She has a moderate-sized brain tumor on her cerebellum and tumor cells in her cerebral fluid. Her docs made a VERY quick plan (so thankful for their urgency), and she started whole brain radiation on Wednesday. She has had 3 treatments so far and will have 7 more between tomorrow and next Tuesday. She will have to be out of work for the near future… maybe even forever, depending on next steps. As she is right now, she wouldn’t be able to do her job in a way her clients deserve. She will be applying for long term disability, but it takes months to come through.

Laura has already proven once that she is a fighter. But she needs our extra support, love and prayers. Please help me provide extra support for Laura so it is one less thing for her to worry about.
