This GoFundMe is in support of my mom, Laura Friday, and her husband Mark Friday. My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer and tested positive for the BRCA gene this Summer. The cancer thankfully has remained contained, but she will be undergoing a double mastectomy right before the holiday season. Due to her job being seasonal, she will not have an income during her recovery. Her husband Mark is retired and helping to care for my 84-year-old grandfather. If you know my mom, you know she is an incredibly selfless person and rarely asks for anything. The biggest concern is a lack of income during recovery - I would like her to be able to focus on her recovery and not stress over lack of income and medical bills.
