Hello everyone, my German Shepherd puppy, Kodak has had an unfortunate health problem that landed him in the ER recently.  He went from limping, to having an infection that has spread into his joint, and also  caused a large abcess to grow within his elbow region. This all happened in a matter of a week and a half.  Due to his vet not being able to catch this sooner, we had no choice but to take him to the ER once his pain became unbearable for him to handle. As you can imagine his bills are adding up quickly, and we are having a hard time keeping up with the cost. We are asking for shares, donations, and to bring awareness of vets that want your money, versus the vets who want to help! The primary vet took X-rays she couldn’t read, wanted us to pay 200 dollars to get the one X-Ray she took, to be sent off to “someone who could read it”. The sad thing is, we got the imagine on a disk, and a different vet clinic said it was impossible to read, so therefore how could anyone else have been able to read one horrible X-ray image. Why not take another if you can’t even read it, and how did you get your job and not know how to do it correctly. She then told me how she wouldn’t give me anymore pain medication for my puppy’s pain, because he was a puppy and it’s not good for him. The same vet clinic, different location offered us some without asking. So i’d assume my primary vet wanted me to have no other option other to send out the horrible X-ray all for money purposes. Lastly she disregarded the scab on his elbow, as nothing that can assist in his condition. It’s possible the scab could have gotten infected and moved inward into his arm, hence everything going on right now. After 5 vet visits in 10 days, we are now here. In the ER with limited expensive options to help Kodak get through this traumatic experience. Please help, and thank you!
