I'm having surgery next week for a full knee replacement, and just found out we have to come up with a large out-of-pocket payment before they will do the surgery. This is on top of being out of work for a month with no pay, and recently having a mammogram that found something concerning, so now I have that to deal with too. My husband is the only one working and trying to be there for me, but he doesn't make enough to cover all our bills. Even when my short-term disability starts, it still won't be enough to get us through.

The funds raised will help us cover our regular bills, allow my husband to take time off work to care for me after surgery, and help pay for the medical expenses we’re facing.
