Kira, my beloved Shiba Inu, recently faced a sudden and heartbreaking emergency. She began having trouble breathing and became very lethargic, so we rushed her to the emergency veterinary hospital. The team there quickly assessed her and explained the costs for the care she needed, both for what had already been done and what would be required moving forward. I wasn’t able to pay for everything upfront, so I applied for a line of credit just to make sure Kira could get the help she needed. Once approved, we moved forward with all the necessary tests, including ultrasounds and X-rays, hoping for the best.

After all the testing, we were faced with the most difficult decision any pet owner can imagine. We made the best choice for Kira, putting her comfort first, but now we are left with the burden of emergency vet bills and final expenses. Anything given will go directly toward covering these costs and helping us honor Kira’s memory.
