Help with Kinsey's Beach Shack repairs after Ian

Hello,

My name is Ashton Barnes. I am the property manager for Kinsey's Beach Shack on North Captiva Island, my family's rental home of 60 years that was severely damaged in hurricane Ian. We have been able to share our home with so many over the years. We value and appreciate every one of our guests who have visited and treated the house as their own. We used your business to fund the Beach Shack, allocating the money for repairs and taxes and paying our staff. After Hurricane Ian directly hit us at just under a category 5, we received significant damage to the roof and structure. We also lost income as we quickly returned deposits to people we knew would no longer be able to keep their reservations. Insurance is not an option to help with repairs, and with an unidentified timeline of utilities being restored, we will continue to have to refund guests in total. Your donations will go to a new roof, new appliances in the laundry room, some indoor and outdoor furniture that was destroyed and reconstruction of the bedroom. We are asking for help from all of you who have shared memories and experiences at our house and on the island, and we hope we can raise enough to share this wonderful place with you again.
