Help with Kim Engst’s medical expenses

I’m starting this fundraiser on behalf of my mom, Kim Engst. As many of you know, Kim has devoted her life to helping animals being a vet tech for over 40 years. She found her love in shelter medicine and has spent countless hours even beyond her work days to care for, foster, heal, and love on many different kinds of animals and pass on her knowledge to so many others who share the same passion for animals as her. Kim also has a love for teenagers, being a youth leader in her church for numerous years. She was always the go to for advice, encouragement or a venting session, affectionately called Momma Kim.

Through numerous doctor appointments and trips to Johns Hopkins in Baltimore my mom has been diagnosed with muscular dystrophy that is severely comprising her body, including the muscles in her legs, core, arms and hands forcing her to leave the career and animals she loves. Unfortunately there’s no cure for muscular dystrophy so this fundraiser is to help pay for medical equipment that she needs and the ongoing medical bills with this diagnosis.
