Help Kidney transplant Carmen Tahimi

On December of 2016 I had to have an emergency dialysis and it saved my life. I was dying. I was diagnosed with kidney disease due to high blood pressure. Ever since then, I’ve been having dialysis treatments 3 times a week, 4 hours long. It’s been so hard these past few years. My daughter had to stop going to school for some time to take care of me. Im not able to work. Every year It seams like my health is getting worse. I was finally given the opportunity to be put on the transplant list. Once approved, They will credit the time I’ve been on dialysis and apply it. Meaning you’re usually on the transplant list 4 to 5 years. So they will go back to whenever I first started dialysis. I’ve been on dialysis almost 4 years now. May 11th of this year, I had to drive 4 and a half hours to Jacksonville to the Mayo Clinic to start my kidney evaluation. I talked to my social worker and even though the insurance will cover some costs, I will need to cover the rest. I have to stay a month in Jacksonville to go to appointments to make sure my new kidney is working properly. I am asking for 5,000 to help me with these costs. I know it’s such a big ask but I need this surgery. I’ve been sick all my life. But I’m still here. I’m only 49 years old and I’m not ready to give up. I have grandchildren I want to see grow up. even if it’s just 1$, I will gladly appreciate it. Thank you so much! I appreciate it.
