Hello,
My name is Audrianna Houser. My father, John Houser, has been waiting for seven years to become active on the kidney transplant list. He has undergone numerous medical procedures and has been on dialysis for over seven years. His story is inspiring. Despite his illness, he always made time for me and many of the girls I play softball with. He loves softball and has even helped coach, despite the physical strain it places on him. My mother and I would be lost without him.
On March 27th of this year, my father called his father. Unbeknownst to him, it would be their last conversation. He informed his father that he had been activated on the kidney transplant list from the University of Utah. His father’s final words to him were, “The squeaky wheel gets the grease.” Tragically, the next day, my grandfather passed away while shopping with my grandmother. My father was devastated and wondered why his father had to leave and go to heaven. However, my grandfather had a plan and was determined to carry it out. He went to heaven to move mountains. He had meticulously planned his journey, and he was ready to execute it. He went to heaven to fulfill his destiny. He had it all planned out—to bury me, and the next day, God and I would have a gift for you. The gift was to inform you of a new kidney. My father is a different person now and is filled with newfound life. The only thing we are asking for is financial support for the next three months, as he will be unable to work due to his recovery. We had believed we had months to a couple of years to save, but God had other plans. If you are able to make any financial donation, it would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Audrianna Houser
