Help with Kayla’s endometriosis surgery cost

I have been suffering with endometriosis since i was a preteen. It is also suspected I have adenomyosis. I have not been able to hold a full time job in the last four years because of my pain, and it has progressively gotten worse in the past two years to the point i am lucky to have a week that is symptom free.

Many think endometriosis is just a bad period but it is so much more than that. It is a full body inflammatory disease. Endometriosis is when the tissue grows outside of the uterus and can spread to other parts of the body, such as the bladder , bowel, ovaries, and in rare cases, the lungs and brain.

I will be having laparoscopic surgery in Idaho on June 19, as there is no surgeon that specializes in endo in North Dakota. I will also be having my appendix taken out and is not covered by insurance.

Although surgery does not provide a cure, it is a diagnosis and removes the lesions, which can provide great relief for multiple years. Even though i am not sure if i have infertility, it is a main symptom of endometriosis and having surgery can greatly increase your chances to give birth. Travel costs and surgery, is going to really hurt financially, which has already been a struggle in general.
