Help Katy fight cervical cancer

Hello! I’m Kyleigh and I've known Katy Clark since we were 13/14 years old. A 20+ year friendship has many ups and downs, but cancer isn't one you ever think you'll face.

Katy was recently diagnosed with stage 3 cervical cancer. She has already missed work for doctor's appointments, and in order to maintain any sort of semblance of a regular life, she's going to need some help. Her rent is over $1600 a month, and that doesn't include a single bill. As she treks through this unbelievable sickness and starts to receive treatments, things are only going to get harder.

As some of you may know, she lives on the complete opposite side of the country (in San Diego) from her mom and brother, who live in North Carolina. We're asking for this amount in order to help pay her bills and to make travel easier for her to come visit and/or have her mom and brother travel to help take care of her when the nitty gets gritty.
