Monday January 18th Karen was admitted to the hospital for pancreatitis. Within the first 24 hours her health room a rapid decline as her O2 levels dropped and her CO2 levels were sitting at 67. Her health continued to decline with circulation issues and low blood pressure. Emergency surgery was performed January 20th to remove part of her small intestine that was damaged due to the low blood pressure . The surgeon said at that point they would need to perform follow up surgeries to ensure no other sections needed removal. At 12 noon in January 21st the medical team called seeking approval to begin dialysis as her kidneys have began failure.


Through this her husband John aka Tyr is missing work and will need to miss quiet s bit more. They also need to make some adjustments to the home should she survive and be allowed to come home for recovery. The money is to help cover bills and living as John will be missing work and a new bed suitable for when she comes home
