At the shelter recently, Johanna found a 4-month-old kitten who had been feral and was repeatedly passed over for adoption because she was afraid of interacting with people. Johanna brought her home and named her Juniper. Unfortunately, Juniper had contracted an upper respiratory infection at the shelter that didn't become symptomatic until she was home. The URI quickly turned into pneumonia, and Juniper had to spend two nights at the vet for emergency care, getting antibiotics and oxygen.

Overnight stays at the vet are expensive and Juniper will also need more x-rays next month, along with medication. Johanna is struggling to afford this after paying all of Simon's bills, and would greatly appreciate any help anyone can offer.
