On Nov. 20, 2021 JP was admitted to the Emergency room for shortness of breath and chest pain. After under going many tests the hospital decided to transport him via ambulance to the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. His condition worsened into the night and upon admission to UNMC he was barely stable. He had a team of Pulmonologists, cardiologists, and Internists taking on his case. His initial diagnoses were Pneumonia, Endocarditis, and Septic Pulmonary Embolism. He spent the next 3 nights in the Cardiac ward. While he does have insurance the family will need help paying for the parts of the bill that insurance doesn’t cover. They appreciate everyone that is able to help. JP was discharged on 11/23/21 with Bilateral Atypical pneumonia. Thanks to the hardworking doctors and nurses at UNMC JP was able to finish his recovery at home.
