We thank you for helping this young man as he is going to have to learn and overcome after facing a tragedy. Jojo is a 17 year old wrestler and Senior in High School who was in an bad accident a little over a week ago. He was struck by a car that ran a red light. The impact immediately broke his Femur and about every bone in his lower leg. He was then ejected about 50 feet. We thank God that he saved Jojo’s life that night. Unfortunately his lower leg was unable to be repaired, and they had to amputate it. We cant describe the feelings we have gone through or what Jojo is going through.
Jojo’s Father, Robert Sorgman and Step Mom Nicole Sorgman will need help with saving for his medical expenses and prosthetic.
Jojo is a 17 year old young man who was an elite wrestler and has been wrestling since the age of 4 years old, and was one of the best in his weight class in Northern California. Not only was he a top level Varsity wrestler, but he was always refereeing and coaching the youth team, and was super involved in giving back to the wrestling community. Jojo is a Senior in High School, who has been dealing with the stress of Covid and missing out on his Senior year. And now he is faced with figuring out how he is going to shift his sail in his plan as he is becoming a man. His plan was either College wrestling, but with Covid and possibly not getting to wrestle his Senior year, his back up plan was to enlist in the Military. Both were taken from him that night. Jojo has also spent a lot of his years playing football, training in MMA, boxing, and always outdoors. Jojo is one of the strongest human beings that I know. He will overcome this and will continue to do great things in this world. Jojo is a true gem to life and has always been an inspiration to the world. If you are able to help out, even a little bit, our family greatly appreciates it more than you know. Here are just a few of the hundreds of pictures from his sports and active lifestyle throughout the years.
