Help with John Kelly's recovery

Hi all, I am starting a campaign to help raise money for a good family friend, John Kelly, who took a devastating fall that has altered the state of his whole life. In the middle of January this year, John fell down an entire flight of stairs and hit his head so hard he fractured his skull, shattered his right forearm, and has suffered a traumatic brain injury.  He was hospitalized at Sacred Heart Hospital in intensive care for several weeks.  He has had to learn how to walk, talk, eat, and perform several other basic activities that most of us take for granted.  He had surgery on his arm with a metal plate implanted.  In early February, he was transferred to one of four facilities in the state of Wisconsin that help rehabilitate people with traumatic brain injuries.  He had made great progress so far, but is by no means out of the woods.  Going on almost 2 months now, John has been fighting hard to regain his strength, memory, and balance among many other issues he has had to face and try to overcome.  The struggle is long and arduous, but he is a fighter.  He has many people praying for his recovery.

Ad you can imagine, it has not only greatly affected his health but all the daily bills simply do not stop.  With his ability to make money taken away, John has incurred many expenses including losing his vehicle, getting behind on rent and other monthly bills.  He also will have some medical expenses to contend with.  So to help him transition slowly back into real life, any kind of donation you could make would be greatly appreciated.  John will qualify for SSI because of his brain injury, but unfortunately that can take months.  Go Fund Me is great tool to help friends and family get back on their feet in the midst of a tragedy.  Anything you could help with to make John's life a little bit easier at this time, will help take the high stress of finances off his mind.  He needs all the strength he can muster to keep his stength up and concentrate on his long road to recovery.  Thank you for reading this, and let's ban together to help a good friend.  God bless you all for your prayers and well wishes.  ❤  Let's help our friend John in his time of need, as he has helped many others when they needed it.
