Help with John Eddy's final expenses
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Teri and I started this fundraiser to help my best friend's mother with the unexpected expenses of losing her beloved husband.
John C. Eddy was a devoted husband of 50 years and father of 2, and lived an amazing life in his short 69 years on earth.
John served his country for many years and was retired from both the Coast Guard Honor Guard and Army National Guard. He was a helicopter pilot, airplane pilot, and parachute jumper.
He was a firefighter, policeman, and a boat captain of a luxury casino cruiser outside of Brunswick, Georgia. He was a traveler and a teacher.
In his spare time, he was a Civil war reenactor, and was in some prominent civil war movies like "Glory". He was a scuba dive instructor, certified rescue diver, and an accomplished cave diver. He was a gifted guitarist, and was honored to have played with Carlos Santana prior to his rise to fame.
He was an engineer; capable of building and or fixing anything. He was a motorcycle rider, horse drawn carriage business owner, and driver.
And he was a phenomenal story teller. If you got him going...you were trapped. You were going to hear about ALL THE THINGS... he was an encyclopedia of knowledge. But you ALWAYS came away enlightened and lighter in heart. His laugh was contagious. You could hear it from across the room and laugh without even knowing why you were laughing.
Most of all, he was a friend to many.
John was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in August of 2021. He put up an amazing fight, but the cancer was swift and took him much too soon.
If you can find it in your heart to donate, the money will be used to offset the costs of John's final expenses.
Thank you and God bless.
