Help with Jim's medical & Life Flight bills

Hey all,
As many of you know, Jim Jensen, along with his wonderful wife Patricia Jensen, moved to St George last fall from Northern Utah & found the amazing UFA (Up For Anything) St George group on Facebook shortly after they moved here. They have both joined us on a bunch of fun hikes & more.
Anyone that has gotten the pleasure to spend even a few seconds talking to them can't help but to have smiled from that conversation with them! Their love of hiking with each other & with UFA is easy to see so quickly!
Well, Jim & Pat joined UFA for a hike out to Yant Flats & the Candy Cliffs yesterday (Feb 5th, 2023) and they were having fun hiking with about 40 others when Jim started feeling more fatigued than normal. He and Pat decided to sit and rest for a bit before continuing the hike back to the cars at the trailhead. A few minutes later Jim started feeling horrible chest pains and then passed out. Shortly after he woke up 9-1-1 was called and the ambulance and search and rescue were dispatched, as we were about 2 miles away from any road.
During the call with 9-1-1 it was determined that due to their distance from anywhere that an ambulance could reach that a medical helicopter (Life Flight out of St George) was needed.
Life Flight was unable to find a suitable landing zone within a mile of where Jim was... So, Life Flight then called out a smaller helicopter - the Utah State Police helicopter based at St George airport (placed there only 7 months ago - before that, the nearest Utah State Police copter was in Salt Lake City). Utah State Police were able to land, with their smaller helicopter, about 100 yards away and we were all able to load Jim into a basket and load him into their copter. They then flew about 1 mile away, to where Life Flight was waiting for him. He was then flown to St George Regional Hospital for further care.
Today, Feb 6th, Jim had an angiogram that revealed a 90% blockage in 1 artery & an 80% blockage in another artery. The doctors put in 3 stents. He is currently resting comfortably and doctors say that he should be back to hiking in about a month, but with lots of cardiac rehab in his near future.
All these things cost money. And while Jim & Patricia do have insurance, we all know that insurance doesn't cover everything, especially things like his helicopter flight to the hospital.
Let's help our friends out with their bills coming from his heart attack!
Any money that happens to be raised over their actual bill amounts will be donated to the charity of their choice!
