Our Warrior Lilia Jasmine De La Cruz has transitioned into the next life.  She leaves behind her Mother, Brother and loving family.  

On the night February 28th Lilia took her last breath after having fought for over 2 years.  Her body was ravaged by chemotherapy and in spite of this  Lilia continued to live her last days with courage, conviction, love and faith.  Despite her challenges Lilia never lost faith, her final gift to her family was in providing an opportunity for us to gather in support and love for her and her family in the final moments of her life.

Jasmine had a unique ability of making her presence felt regardless of the occasion.  She laughed freely and often. The one thing that I feel everyone in our family could  attest to was that she could make you laugh to the point of tears.  Even in instances where you found yourself the target of her mischief, you knew that it came from a place of love.  A greeting from her always consisted of the tightest and warmest hug you could possibly imagine, an unspoken understanding that you were genuinely missed.  These memories will forever live in our hearts.

Our family is heartbroken and grieving the loss of such a beautiful soul.   We know that she is finally at peace.  
 
Funds raised will go directly towards the costs associated with the funeral, and ceremony as well as incidental expenses related to it.  Any additional funds will go towards supporting Lilia's family as they manage this difficult transition.
