Help with Jack-Jack Vet Fees

Hi, my name is Kyndall. As many of you guys know me, I LOVEEEEE animals. From dogs to cats to ducks to a breaded dragon. Always on top to make sure all my animals live there best life. However, sometimes life does take an unexpected turn.

On December 17th, I started to noticed welts on Jack Jack face, took him to the vet the next day and was told he had an ear, face, and eye infection. They shaved off the welts so his face was raw and hairless. Now if you have cats, sometimes cats are the BIGGGEST a**holes when giving medicine. And I had to give him 3

A few days after I got him from the vet and I was giving him his medicine, he took his cone off. (He had a cone to prevent him from scratching.) Right when he took his cone off , he immediately went HAM on his face causing him to bled and go back to square one (with the treatments). I finally got it back on but after that I was done, I was sooo scared. He was bleeding so I took him to the vet to help me give him the rest of his medicine. As I give them to him , they told me he looks a lot worse.

1 week goes by , still no update on what he has

Week 2 goes by, giving me updates on hows he’s doing but still no diagnois.

In the middle of week 2 , I get a call asking if they can take a biopsy of his skin because they think he had an autoimmune disease.

Week 3 (literally, at the vet for 3 weeks) we found out what he has: Pemphigus Foliaceus

I get him back with 3 different medications. 1 medication is twice a day. Another medication is a life-long medicine. The other one is a spray for his hairless parts.

I also have to give him a bath once a week with this special shampoo. (Cats and baths dont go well, so you can tell what a little struggle this has been. Haha)

His vet bills have racked over 4.5k but thanks goodness to Focus Vet, they took him on his charity case and was able to take of 2k. Also due to his autoimmune disease he will have to take a medicine everyday for the rest of his live, and that medicine is a small bottle which costs about 250$.

Im not really one to ask this but honestly anything would help. These vets bills are killing me. Jack Jack is suchhhh a sweet soul and he didnt deserve any of this. This was an unexpected, unfortunate life event. Thank you again
