I am starting a Gofund me for my Dear friend Marnie Ripple. Her family has had a Terrible tragedy and they really could use your help!!! Her husband Joe Ripple had to have emergency surgery July 1st for a ruptured aorta. He was working outside. He started raking and felt pain in his chest and legs. They rushed Joe to the hospital where Joe went through a 12 hour surgery. He was in the ICU and was on life support for almost 2 weeks. He has suffered an Anoxic brain injury. He is starting to come out of a coma/vegetative state. Up until this past Sunday July 18th he was only showing signs of uncontrollable, unresponsive reflexes opening his eyes, moving his head, arm and leg on the right side of his body. Sunday Marnie asked him to stick out his tongue 3 times, it took Joe a little time but he did it! The 4th time she asked him to open his mouth and stick out his tongue and he did! This gives some positive hope that Joe responded to what he was asked!!! Joe is not moving the Left side of is body at this time. They are hoping to get Joe up into the Sacred Heart brain unit so he can be where he needs to be to get the attention he needs to work with the brain injury he sustained. We are asking for your continued prayers for Joe, Marnie, the kids and family during this time! All this time Joe has been in the hospital the medical bills are piling up! It will be a LONG road to recovery for Joe! He will be in the hospital for a LONG time trying to work through this brain injury. They are not Really sure how much damage has been done or if Joe will come out of this but I'm sure if anyone can fight this and come out of this it will be Joe!!! He is such a giving, Loving person! He would do anything for anyone! PLEASE ...if you can find it in your heart to help Joe and his family through this tragic time to help them pay some of the BIG hospital bills that come with this unexpected illness it would be Greatly appreciated!!! Please help us reach our goal to help Joe and Marnie and his family. Marnie and Joe have been Together 31 years. They were Always together, and they worked together. They own their own business doing rehab jobs on homes and worked so hard together to build that business up and in a blink of an eye it all changedJoe is no longer able to work and because they are self employed they do not have the best of insurance! Any help at all through this time to help with hospital bills that are piling up would be greatly appreciated!
