Recently diagnosed with breast cancer my treatment includes chemotherapy and radiation beginning October 1, 2021. As I just started my little creamery and dairy (2 cows) to supply my very small community with safe nutritious milk products, now my choice is to sell my cows and shut down my business or try to keep it going. I have had family helping, but my closest daughter is 150 miles away, yikes, we have been helping with gas costs. The same for my friend who has filled in running her vehicle up and down gravel roads again yikes.  I have taught them some of what it takes to make cheese, butter, ice cream and the health and care of my cows. I wanted to hire someone but few people want to live this remote.  Thank you all for your support. It means so much to me to be able to keep my very small business and my cows, as they are family, spoiled family but still family.
