Help with Henry's medical expenses

Hi, my name is Rebekah and I'm raising funds for my 15-year-old nephew Henry's emergency medical treatment. Henry has been suffering from undiagnosed stomach pains since Thanksgiving weekend. While waiting for results, the pain got worse, and Henry was taken to the ER on 12/18 and admitted into the VCU Children's Hospital on 12/19 for treatment. He is currently waiting on several medical procedures to determine what could be a chronic disease. It's unclear how long Henry will have to be in the hospital, but it could be through Christmas.

He's in a lot of pain but keeping a wonderful attitude and is so grateful to all the hospital staff and family for their care. We're not sure of how much the total cost will end up being, but even in the best care scenario, it's going to be a huge and unexpected financial burden.

Those of you who know the Wright family (Ross, Manda, Henry, Silas, & Eleanor) know how much they do for so many around them on a daily basis. They are the last people to ask for anything from anyone (and will definitely be upset that I set this up) but I want to give an opportunity for friends and loved ones to contribute if they are able and want to.

UPDATE (12/20, 10:26PM)

We have the results back from Henry's first procedures and unfortunately, he has been diagnosed with severe Crohn's disease. It's a long road ahead for managing this disease, and he's going to be spending more time in the hospital as we wait for more test results to determine next steps (and hopefully a plan to return home.)

Our family is so lucky to have the support of so many incredible people to help us through times of absolute chaos. While he is in a lot of pain and discomfort, Henry makes it a point to share how grateful he is to have so much support, even from so many people he's never met.
