My family is heartbroken after the sudden loss of my Papa. He spent his life working hard, always outside with his work boots on, taking care of projects and looking after his loved ones. The day he passed, my mom and I came home from work to find that he had been outside all day, working on a brush pile. As it got dark, his wife asked us to check on him, and we found him lying on the ground. He was already gone. We called 911, and while they aren't sure if it was a heart attack or simply old age, his passing was unexpected and has left a huge hole in our lives.

My Papa was the kind of person who enjoyed being busy and spending time with friends and family. He was a hard worker, always ready to lend a hand or share a story. Losing him so suddenly has been incredibly difficult for all of us, and now we are facing the added stress of funeral expenses. He did not have life insurance, and we have to pay for his casket and funeral costs up front, with no payment plans available. We are responsible for covering these bills ourselves, and it has been a lot to manage during such a hard time. All donations will go directly toward his funeral expenses.
