Help with George Cluny's Medical Bills

It is I, George Cluny, two-time Sexiest Dog Alive, and I’m here to ask you for help.

I was diagnosed with a malignant tumor several weeks ago. I was also found to have pancreatitis, gallstones, and possibly Cushing's Syndrome (we’re still testing for the Cushing’s). The surgery to remove the tumor is too risky because of its size and location, so I might be headed over the rainbow sometime within the next sixteen months. Until that time comes, John, my guardian, has promised to keep me comfortable by treating issues as they arise. He thought he had an adequate end-of-life fund set aside, but we burned through half of it during my first two days in the hospital. I’m not saying John is bad at math, I’m just saying he’s pretty naive when it comes to veterinary costs. And also he’s an out-of-work actor (and you know what they’re like).

John rescued me nine years ago after I was found starving in a vacant lot. He nursed me back to health, and sent me to charm school (obviously). Then we found out I had epilepsy. It took a few months to get that diagnosed and under control, but we’ve had a pretty great life together ever since. Sure, sometimes he’s a bit much with the actor jealousy because I get loads of attention for my charm and natural sexiness, but I just say to him, “Some of us are born great, some achieve greatness, and some adopt greatness. Now set the camera a little higher, and don’t block my light.”

I’m feeling pretty decent right now after a rocky month. I’m taking my meds and watching my diet, going out for walks, and getting a lot of sleep in between doctor visits and photo shoots. I know I speak for both of us when I say any help you can offer is greatly appreciated.

Love you,
George Cluny
