Help with funeral & memorial costs for our mom
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
Sadly, our beloved mother Robin passed away just before Thanksgiving. Since then, we have been thrown into the process of arranging a memorial service to honor her life and everything else that comes along with that.
Unfortunately, we are severely lacking the funds needed to cover the cost of her cremation and funeral expenses for a memorial that will be held in January. We are setting up this GoFundMe with the hope that our friends, family, or anyone that knew Robin, might be willing to help us get through this tough time and make this process a little less taxing on us.
Robin was truly one of a kind. She was the wildest and most lovable person one could ever meet and she will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. Thank you all for the love and support throughout this process.

Much thanks to our aunt Bonnie who wrote the following obituary.
Robin Lee Simmonds Ratzloff passed from this life in her home in Portland, Oregon on Friday, November 18, 2022. Robin was born in Denver, Colorado on March 28, 1946 and adopted at 7 days of age by Howard Wesley Simmonds and Leola Pearl McAlister Simmonds. Her younger brother, Howard Eugene Simmonds, was also adopted by Howard and Lee Simmonds just a little over 13 months later. Robin's very early years were spent in Omaha, Nebraska and teenage years were between Butte Falls, Oregon and Elk Creek, California. She attended Elk Creek High School and Chemeketa Community College in Salem, Oregon. Robin was a very creative person, whether it was sewing or building a gazebo. She loved the outdoors, especially gardening and hunting. Robin faced many difficulties in her life, most recently the loss of her partner, Michael "Buffalo" Norton, last August. She had a strong faith in God throughout her life and a deep love for her family. Surviving family members include sons Troy Eugene Nethery of Portland, Oregon and Brandon Clark of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, in addition to several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Robin will be greatly missed by friends and family. She is now free of the struggles and pain that she so often encountered in life. May she rest in peace.
