Chris English, a vibrant, generous 28 yr old was diagnosed with lung cancer three months ago along with a separate abdominal cancer his doctors have described as “the most aggressive they have ever seen”. He and his wife, Cassie, had celebrated their first anniversary just before his diagnosis, and Chris fought to make it to their 4th dating anniversary, October 31, the day he passed.
He was a guy who would do anything to make his wife happy, and he was the kind of son who came alongside his mom for help having also lost her husband at a young age. He was the older present brother to his younger sister and brother. He was the kind of football coach at Pasco High who cared more about his players being equipped for life than about winning games. He and Cass had the boys in their home for meals and conversation regularly. He just got his license as a journeyman over the summer missing his graduation due to a medical procedure.
Through it all, Chris fought like a fierce warrior—always more concerned about the well-being of others than his own pain. Cassie stood by his side every step of the way of this horrible journey. He’s had a big impact on many lives. And now his wife in her deep grief is suddenly faced with medical and funeral expenses as well as his loss of income. So many have asked for a way to donate during this heartbreaking time, so we set this up to support her.
Please continue to surround Cassie and the entire family in prayer and hold them close in your hearts.
Thank you for all the love and support
