My name is Kelsey Carter. I am creating this GoFundMe for an employee of my husband. My husband, Andrew Carter, works at Weed Man Lawncare in Winston-Salem, NC. Willie, Ms. Speas’ husband, has worked for my husband as a valuable, reliable employee for the past 6 years. Willie is an exemplary employee and an individual who my husband thinks so highly of. My husband and I felt it in our heart to try and help this family as they have had a great burden with funeral expenses placed upon them.
Bredan Robinson Speas passed away October 13th, 2021 at Select Specialty Hospital in Greensboro, NC.
Ms. Speas was born on February 2nd, 1974. She attended West Forsyth High School Class of 1993. She owned and eventually retired from her daycare center, Train Up A Child Learning Center, after 20 years.
She was married to her childhood sweetheart, Willie Speas, for 16 years but were together for 32 beautiful years. In addition to her loving husband, she leaves behind a son, Daquan Speas; a daughter, Deja Speas; mother, Brenda Robinson; three brothers, four sisters and many other close relatives.
Ms. Speas was fighting a tough battle after being diagnosed with COVID in August. After a long 42-day stay at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, she was transferred to Select Specialty to receive the continuing care that she needed while on the road to recovery. She remained at Select Special for the next 2 weeks and was making progress which gave her loving family hope that she would soon be back home with them. On October 13, the Speas family lost their wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend and so much more. This is a day that this family did not see coming especially after the progress that Ms. Speas was making with each day. Their hearts are shattered.
Please consider helping this family with funeral expenses if you are able to. Even the smallest amount will help the Speas Family. This families’ world has been turned upside down and being able to help with the funeral expenses would be a tremendous blessing!
Thank you for reading and donating if you feel it in your heart to do so.
